One Body of Work. Two Pathways.
People experience my work in two primary ways. They are different entry points, but they are grounded in the same philosophy.
This pathway focuses on how individuals and teams function within organizations. My work here includes:
This work is reflective, practical, and deeply human — helping leaders translate insight into everyday behavior.
EQnimity is the experiential expression of my work, grounded in partnership with horses. Through equine-assisted learning, participants:
Horses act as powerful mirrors, revealing patterns that are often invisible in traditional learning environments. The insight gained in the arena often carries forward into leadership, relationships, and life.
Different pathways. Same work. Same intention.
Janis Cooper is a leadership and organizational development practitioner, equine-assisted learning facilitator, and founder of EQnimity. Her work blends behavioral science, experiential learning, and somatic awareness to help leaders and teams better understand how they show up — and how that shapes trust, communication, and culture.
With experience spanning global corporate businesses, nonprofit, animal welfare, and organizational leadership environments, Janis brings a grounded, relational approach to development that values reflection as much as action. She is particularly drawn to the moments when insight emerges — when awareness creates choice and change becomes possible.
If you’re curious about leadership development, equine-assisted learning, or creating experiences that foster real awareness and change, I’d love to connect.
